With almost 360º views of the surrounding mountains, Bear Paw Lodge offers incredible tranquillity and the unique feeling of living close to nature in the heart mountains, with the added bonus of being no more than 20 minutes away from some of the best Winter and Summer activity facilities that Canada has to offer, such as Skiing at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort & Lake Louise, vast Snowmobiling terrain including local guided tours, Back Country Skiing, Helli-Skiing, Snow-Shoeing, Golf, River Rafting, Hand Gliding, ATV Tours, Mountain Biking, Hiking and Horse riding.

Bear Paw Lodge is the ideal location away from any commercialism, with an abundance of wildlife often wandering through the 6 acre grounds and the vast surrounding terrain. A superb base for exploring in the mountains, visiting the Northern Lights Wolf Centre (only 2 minutes away), taking a short hike to Thompsom Falls and the Blaeberry river, or lounging at the end of the day in the hot-tub looking up at the mountains & stars whilst soaking those aching limbs

Our friendly Lodge Manager, will be happy to help with queries during your stay. Fresh bathroom towels will be provided twice per week and bed linen changed once per week. Full washing and drying facilities are provided for our guests to use.

Golden is approximately a 3 hour drive from Calgary, heading west on the trans-Canada Hwy 1, or 6 hours East from Vancouver. Other nearby attractions include Lake Louise (55mins), Banff (1 hour 50mins), Radium Hot Springs & Panorama Mountain Village (2hours).
